Adventure Time – Season 5 Episode 34 – Recap – Time Sandwich

Here we are, back again, for another recap in the never-ending season five of Cartoon Network‘s hit animated action/comedy/fantasy Adventure Time! We’re finally away from the longer plots and down to a really strong gag episode, and a Jake-focused one at that! Read on to see what happens when Jake the Dog makes the best sandwich ever.

Jake comes home from grocery shopping with some full bags. He asks B-MO and Finn to play quietly while he prepares a sandwich. The sandwich contains lettuce, tomato, pickles, yellow onion, mayo, sous vide meat, egg, fresh bird, and a lobster soul. When the sandwich is complete, it begins to glow white. It truly is the best sandwich ever made. Magic Man then appears to steal the sandwich, which he does. Magic Man jumps through the wall and throws a spell at the ground, surrounding himself and the debris (and the sandwich) in a thick yellow bubble. Jake thinks it’s weird that he’s frozen, but Finn notices that Magic Man is just moving very slowly.
