Since about eighth grade I have wanted to start a let's play channel with my brother. Of course, he was into the idea up until the moment it meant he had to take time out of his day to stop gaming every once in a while and help me edit. So, I decided to brave the world of YouTube alone.
I got my own controller so I could assure no one else would break it, I got a list of games that I really wanted to play, and I had my own channel waiting for me to post a video. It was all just peachy keen.
The only problem was, I didn't know how the heck I was going to record my videos.
I don't have a PC anymore because it fried itself somehow so that wasn't an option. I tried using the Mac I have now, but of course, I didn't know how to work it yet and it had a small selection of games. I kept thinking, "What am I going to do?"
Well, I got the brilliant idea of finally asking and asking for that beautiful game capture device that didn't need to connect to a computer. I finally received a few months ago for my birthday and it was all great, yet again.
Except my microphone needs a laptop or a close computer to record myself doing live commentary.
Rage in 3...2...1...
WHAT THE FRICK!? I WAITED ALL THIS TIME AND I STILL HAVE TO SPEND MONEY ON A LAPTOP?!
So, my dreams of starting that awesome channel for horror games haven't become realities yet. I'm hoping somehow I can afford a laptop so I can really start my channel. For now, I'm going to try things like Amnesia: The Dark Descent and see if that works (here's hoping).
So if there are any good horror games on the Mac (or good games in general for that matter) go ahead and leave a note so I can search for them.
Now, what shall I rant about tomorrow...
