So recently I bought my PS4 and I am extremely happy with it. As you may know (I don't know why you would...) I have an Xbox One also and having both presents some opportunities. I couldn't really be a part of any conversation that regarded both of the consoles, for example which I thought was better. I haven't been able to weigh in on Playstation games since the I had a PS2. And let me tell you, Infamous Second Son was fantastic and I could go on for days about that game. I am excited that I no longer have to cringe at the thought of watching a trailer at E3 that looks awesome only to have it ripped away from me because it's a Sony exclusive.
And I think the exclusive titles bit got me to buy one. I never got the chance to play The Last of Us because I had a 360. This frustrated me and made me think "Why would they do this? Why release it on only one console, they could make so much more money if they released it on both." But now that I decided on getting both I have the remastered edition of The last of Us to look forward to and that excites me. Anytime through out the life cycle of these new console when someone says I need to play a game I don't have to think about whether or not I have the right system.
I feel as though it will make me a better gamer because I won't miss out on as many experiences this time around. But I guess now comes the hard question, what system do I buy games on that aren't exclusives? Any advice?
