Is WiiU... Dead?!?

Well people tend to comare things and they seem to think WiiU is going the way of the DreamCast. It's easy to think that way, I can't blame them, the situation looks not so bright to this day for the Nintendo-made console. But I still have faith in Nintendo and the WiiU, even so after seeing how the 3DS took off after a very similar start. In fact, the Dreamcast showed some opposite conditions. For example, there was lack luster games in staple franchises like Sonic Adventure, Ecco, Virtual On along with high quality third party games like Soul Calibur, Capcom vs SNK and Grandia2. I in Sega's part the problem was the lack of games the customer already knew and were familiar with since it was the time Sega's internal studios got hard at work on new and awesome franchises like Skies of Arcadia, Jet Set Radio, Shenmue, the Virtua sports and many others. But they were new unproven games and people tend to look for familiarity in order to get some kind of warranty. In WiiU's case Nintendo has a lot of great established franchises, but lacks that awesome third party games in exception to ZombieU, Splinter Cell, Rayman Legends, Batman: Arkham and a few others. This is not the same case as the DreamCast. Sega was loosing with its second try counting the Saturn and the DreamCast was given the cold shoulder by many in favor of the sh*t-talking of PS2 and the false promises of its Emotion Engine and Graphics Sinthetizer, which ended up being the same nonsense as "Blast processing". To me Nintendo is just falling victim to some stupid gamers that take too much seriously the "predictions" of some mistakenly called analysts who just seem to downplay consoles in favor of others. Who can assure the slow sales of the WiiU are due to gamer disinterest and not due gamers thinking it would flop after reading Pachter's pseudo analysis? We gamers need to understand that a more powerful console is not equal to greater or better games, I bet 3DS offers more fun than a PS4 or XB1 right now. People tend to go with the sure thing, they seem to think owning the console with more features will give them some sort of warranty and in fact they are just paying more for only the potential and not for the actual best console. After all if you use that same criteria, you will have to admit the XBox was way better than PS2... Anyway, gamers need to relax a bit and change that way of thinking, the most powerful or the console with more features is not always the best and even if you think you own the best console you should NEVER MISS on other great games just because of console loyalty. That is what being a true gamer is, enjoying games And I hope to do the same later when Super Smash Bros launches for 3DS and WiiU along with some surprises which (hopefully) include Metroid, Legend of Zelda and Super Mario RPG for the WiiU...
