Winter has arrived on the Minecraft Game of Thrones-themed server, WesterosCraft, and one Virtuix employee braved virtual Westeros on-foot on the Omni treadmill. Virtuix Omni has released a demonstration of a developer using the Omni and the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset to traverse iconic locales from the show, including The Wall and Castle Black.
The WesterosCraft server is about 501 square miles in size, roughly the size of Los Angeles, according to the server's website. After fast-forwarding through the clip of the demonstrator climbing The Wall's steps, he looks over the edge of the other side and jump off, mimicking a falling motion inside the Omni.
