This weeks AGV recaps the week of my long and boring chemistry class (I'm tired Allright?), the wonderful aromas and special techniques of charcoal barbequeing, and of course, the insanely huge mobile game hit: Clash of Clans. Me and my senior class have never been so united in something we all agree on and like. As a side note, I attend a private school and my graduating class is 9 people. We make the most of it haha. Enjoy the blog!

Also, sorry for the late blog. My internet has been down for the last couple weeks. Well actually, its not able to support my blogs when I try to upload them. Either way, it should be good now.

Chaos in chemistry...sort of

So, this class has been slow in starting and that is a weakness for me at times. It also affects how I do on tests and of course this was no exception. I scored a B- on that test and to me, that is absolutely failure because of the fact that I have always achieved the high grades or at least made my way to the top 3 in science. Absolutely shameful of me.

But its life. Life happens, things happen, games happen, you get the idea. The thing is now I must keep myself awake while we review tables of elements and go over terms so that I can use them in college or my job or as conversation starters for people. Guys, I do not recommend telling chemistry jokes to that interest in your life. Although you can totally use those to your advantage if you want her to laugh at some incredibly corny jokes. So, knock your self out with this link.

Cooking with charcoal the original manly way.

So I decided to fire up some charcoal BBQ this week. It was awesome. Its been so long since I ate something of a grill besides the trager grill. That smokes meat but I like to go back to the original way of cooking in a BBQ grill that uses charcoal.

Grilling food is not a task for the lazy. It requires a sense of technique and a watchful eye lest the steak/chicken/pineapple/etc grows burnt of ruined. It really is kinda challenging at times to make sure its cooked all the way. Sometimes you can't even tell but so far, so good!

And speaking of challenges, we have a game where strategy and skill comes to mobile devices and where safety in numbers comes to play.

Clash of Clans™

Developer: Supercell

Publisher: Supercell

Type: Strategy, puzzle, action

Rating: E for Elixir

Recommendation: this game has a basic fun system of any strategy game I know. It is easy to play, incredibly suited for young minds, and consists of an online way to spread the fun with friends or other random people.

Platform(s): IOS, Android

AGV Score: 10/10

XboxCulture Score: 5/5

AGV: this game has me hooked and of course I don't like to spend money on games like these. I haven't yet so I've basically nailed down my itchy wallet....for now haha.

And I'm gonna go get working on my samurai armor for a project at school. I'll be posting a blog concerning that and another game that focuses on them and warriors of the east. Stay tuned.

A Toast To All Gamers,

  -Alex Excelsior!
