Hey guys and gals of Game Informer! Your favorite assassin here with a new blog today! I've decided to write about some of my favorite moments in games this generation. I will only be listing three but I plan to make more of these. Hopefully you guys enjoy it.

3. Yuri Lowell's and Flynn Scifo's Friendly Duel (Tales of Vesperia)
First up is Yuri's and Flynn's duel in Tales of Vesperia. Any fan of this game will tell you that while these two are the best of buds, their views on justice go against each other. Flynn follows the rules while Yuri works outside the rules. One believes in letting the law take care of it while the other would rather take things in his own hands. Throughout the game these two will confront each other about their views and their actions.
Their views in a way represent the world they live in as well. Flynn represents order and the Empire while Yuri represents freedom and the Guilds. While these two will butt heads they also remain friends throughout. This duel represents that. The duel was their way of saying that even after what they have been through and their conflicts; they will always be friends no matter what. Seeing this was a touching moment in the game seeing these two friends show each other how much they care for their friends but also their world.
2. Commander Shepard and Garrus Vakarian Shooting Contest (Mass Effect 3)
Next up is Garrus Vakarian and Commander Shepard having a contest on top of the Citadel to see who the better shot is. Throughout the series, the friendships between these two have grown to a brotherhood. I won't lie to you but I would trust Garrus with my life and he would trust you with his. This moment in the game show how far you have come and no matter how hopeless things look, you two will always have each other's back.
3. Clementine shoots Lee
One of the saddest moments I have ever witness in a video game. In this moment the kid that you have protected for so long has to kill someone. The one you wanted to protect from the chaos of this new world now must kill someone. The problem? This someone is you. You, the one that saved her and protected her so long, asks her to kill you so you won't become part of the walking dead.
This was so powerful in my opinion. I couldn't believe that I was asking Clemetine to shoot Lee. Lee was her adoptive father and Clem was so innocent. Throughout season one, we knew how hard life is in this zombie filled world but this makes it much more impactful. You ask her the hardest thing in her life. You're only family she has left but she has to let you go. With one final parting advice the story of Lee Everet ends but the story Clementine continues on as result.
