Hey guys, and welcome to Divergence;Cast episode nine! As usual....wait, what was that? Didn't we post an episode earlier? Yes we did, but that was actually last week's show, and given Youtube couldn't handle the Mitchell brothers or the amount of Wilford Brimley we packed into one episode for a few days, we had to delay it until we were finally able to get it posted last night. So we got two shows for your a**, and in this edition, actually the show we recorded a few days ago, were joined by fellow GIOer Sakaerion in yet another funny installment.
As is usual, we start out with how our weeks have been, Sakaerion in particular detailing the ungodly amount of time he's been putting into the Persona series lately. We start the simulcast discussion shortly after with Log Horizon, which is always good no surprise, but got a lot of praise from us this week for how it handled explaining raids in MMOs. Up next, we talk about Rage of Bahamut episode 3, which, while being more of a standalone episode after the first two, began establishing the backstories of two characters plus giving one of them a companion to bounce off of. Gugure! Kokkuri-san gets the spotlight next, continuing its balance of cute and shocking humor well, and following that, Stranger and Sakaerion chat about The Fruit of Grisaia and how much they're liking it. Denki-Gai and Inou Battle, as well as Lord Marksman and Vanadis and The Seven Deadly Sins follow, all of which maintain their solid quality with a few issues here and there. After I briefly get distracted by Fairy Tail talk with SK, we finish off the simulcast section with Shirobako, which after episode two (and three, but that's a talking point for next week) is easily one of my personal favorite shows so far from the fall anime season. After that section, we move on to anime chat, with this week seeing me take on Stranger's "I Scored" list, featuring Senshi Papillon Rose, Ro-Kyu-Bu, and ChuuBra, all awful shows. I give my thoughts on them, and how, with the exception of some very bad scenes in each show, they didn't revolt me as much as I expected them to. In exchange, Stranger must now watch the rest of the hated Higurashi Kira, which if you read his Higurashi review during his anime 30/30, you'll know he hated. General discussion follows until we get into a brief news discussion about the announcement of Log Horizon's English dub cast. Like we typically do, we end the show giving you our weekly game/VN and anime recommendations.

Word to the wise, there's a full blown (joking, of course) Waifu War in this episode between Stranger and Sakaerion, which had all of us laughing. Oh, and I'm pretty sure my phone stops by to say hello, too.
