Destroy all humans! 2 is a third person shooter set in the swinging 60s. You play as crypto, An alien who just wants to blow stuff up and destroy all humans. Things have been going good for crypto, That is until the KGB blows up the mother ship, with pox crypto's only friend on board. With the mother ship destroyed, Crypto and pox ( now with a hologram body ) set out to recover all their lost furon DNA. But when a sexy femme fatale shows up and says that she needs crypto's help, Whats a furon to do. It turns out that the KGB have a spore that creates mutants, And she needs crypto to help stop them from releasing it across the world. Can crypto stop the KGB?, Will pox can a new body?, Is crypto going to get lucky with natalya?. For the answers to those questions and more play destroy all humans! 2. Destroy all humans! 2 controls are really tight and extremely fun. There are two types of controls, On foot and in the saucer. Both still feel great and are really fun once you get the hang of everything. The on foot controls range from gunplay to platforming to mental abilities. Learning how to use the different weapons like the zip-o-matic or the anal probe, Is pretty easy and it's really fun to use them of humans. There are a number of different of weapons to unlock and upgrade. The different upgrades range from having the weapons fire more, To having it deal more damage. Then you have the jetpack, Which lets you fly across the sky And platform. Getting used to the jetpack takes some time. And just like the weapons you can upgrade the jetpack. And of course you have the saucer. Fly around in the saucer is really fun, And using it's death ray to destroy a whole city is pretty awesome. When you get in to combat with the saucer, The controls can be a little hard to handle. The arming can be off sometimes, And other times it can be that the flying feels a bit off. You also have more then a few mental abilities. Learning to use the different mental abilities is pretty easy, And really fun once you get the hang of it. The different abilities range from psychokinesis to cortex scan. Psychokinesis gives you the ability to pick up and mess with humans. Whereas cortex scan lets you read the minds of humans. As you go through the game you earn and unlock a few more abilities, That you can upgrade just like the weapons. Destroy all humans! 2 also has a number of different side missions to complete. You have odd jobs which range from killing someone to ruining somebody's life. Then you have arkvoodle cults which offer a lot of funny humor. Arkvoodle is the furon god of the sacred crotch. These missions are very fun, And if you complete all of them you unlock one of the best and most crazy weapons in the game. Plus you have a load of different things to collect, You have furon artifacts, Furotech cells and gene blends. Destroy all humans! 2 sound is a lot better than i thought it was going to be. The different sounds range from the noises from the weapons to music and voice acting. The music is very sci-fi which adds to the overall tone of the game. The different weapons all have their own unique sound. From the zip-o-matic to the death ray, Everything sounds different. The voice acting is still really good, but it does not aways sync up with the character who is talking. It's not that big a deal, But it is really goofy when the character lips are not moving, But he/she is talking. It looks like a bad kung fu movie. The graphics are mediocre at best. Crypto holds up the best out of all the characters. The random humans you see walking around the different cities look good, Sometimes they look better then some of the main characters. There are five different cities that you vist in the game. Bay city, ( San francisco ) Albion, ( london england ) takoshima ( tokyo japan ) and tunguska ( siberia ) there is one more place that you vist, But i won't spoil it. In all the cities there are landmarks from the real cities, Which look pretty cool. If you don't like them than you can blow them up, With the saucer's death ray. Overall, Destroy all humans! 2 is a great game that is well worth playing. It offers hours of entertainment, With a plethora of side missions to complete. Secrets to find and weapons to upgrade. The controls hold up really well and they are really fun, Sometimes it can be a little loose but most times it's great. Once you get the hang of them, You'll be destroying all humans in no time. The sound still holds up, All of the voice acting still sounds great. The music is just pure awesome sci-fi music. The weapons all sounds great and look pretty damn cool. The graphics are mediocre, Some characters look better than other's, Crypto looks the best and he is the only character that matters. All in all destroy all human! 2 is a great sequel that offers a lot to fans of the first game. And if you're a new comer to destroy all humans!, They have a video recap of the first game. If you're looking for a great game with a fun sense of humor, Then destroy all humans! 2 is the game for you.
