Georgia State is in its first year of FBS football in the Sun Belt, but the Panthers were 1-10 last year against an FCS schedule. New head coach Trent Miles turned around Indiana State, but he's got a task in front of him here.

Samford is coming off a 7-4 season. The Bulldogs return some talented players, led by running back Fabian Truss and safety Jaquiski Tartt.

It's overcast outside, but we're indoors, sandwiched between an NFL preseason game last night and the Alabama-Virginia Tech game on Saturday.
